Water Filtration for a Food & Beverage
Overview
TPG Services successfully partnered with Suntory Oceania to upgrade their water filtration systems at two manufacturing facilities in Auckland, New Zealand. The two-year, $11 million project aimed to design, install, and commission state-of-the-art Activated Carbon Filtration (ACF) plants, delivering chlorine-free water essential for Suntory’s batching processes and Clean-in-Place (CIP) kitchens.
Project Scope
The project involved installing dual lead/lag ACF systems at each plant, featuring pre-filtration, UV treatment, and fully automated processes for backwashing and sanitation. These enhancements ensured compliance with stringent quality and regulatory standards, all while maintaining uninterrupted production.
